Welcome to the Common Cookbook!
Home cooking is economical and relaxing, nutritious and tasty, and (if you share, which you oughta) serviceable and social. Well, I think so. And I'm not the only person who feels that way, so from time to time I do find myself copying out a recipe, or listing what I put in something, or quizzing a friend as to how something was made. In the course of time, I got to thinking that a wiki (user-editable website) would be a fine way to share these things. I floated the idea to a few of you, and you seemed to like it. Some liked it a whole lot. Some pretty much needed it. And I thought it was time I got all the goodness into one central location. So here, at last, is the Common Cookbook -- a shared resource for (what else?) CommonCookery (in brief, the fairly simple preparation of good stuff).
If you're just here to browse, I presume you'll figure it out pretty fast. If you see WordsSmashedTogetherLikeThis, it's generally a link to a page. If the link doesn't work, that's because NobodyHasMadeThePageYet.
If, on the other hand, someone has given you the password, you're also here to write. And that's exciting. It means you can get into these pages and alter what's on them. Of course, you are expected to BeDecent and to WikiCooperate. But you are not expected to be shy about sharing your best.
Below are some starter links. Have fun. -- NathanRasmussen
